Ever had that moment when a memory comes back to haunt you from the past? It doesn’t have to be a bad memory necessarily, it can be an embarrassing one too, or a sad one.

Here’s my little anecdote regarding those moments of awkward/ashamed reminiscences: Focus on the fact that you’re safe in the now. What’s in the past is in the past, no need to dig that pile.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote in his Psalm of Life:
