The poison I created surges through my veins

I was the one who injected it in the first place

It takes hold of my sanity, with poisonous reigns

There’s the initial blow, the bitter after taste

After a while, everything goes numb, to sleep

And as my faculties shut themselves down

I nod off, overdosed; ridden with guilt, I weep

Never to wake up; a ghost in a ghost town
